Address: Calle Ahuacpinta 157 (also Awacpinta). It is a pedestrian street just behind the Santo Domingo monastery or temple of the sun: Qoricancha.The area is part of the historic center of Cusco. Our street is quiet and is within walking distance of museums, shops, and restaurants in the city.
How to arrive:
By taxi: Instruct the taxi driver to go to the entrance of the Sun Temple Qoricancha or Monastery of Santo Domingo (it is the same place with two names). Go down to the entrance of the monastery. Without crossing the street you will see a pedestrian passage with an imposing Inka wall belonging to the temple of the sun. On the same corner is the Quechua Museum. Follow that street and look for number 157. You will be in an arched wooden door and you will see the Villa Saminti sign. Taxi drivers also usually enter through a narrow street called Inticahuarina. This street also ends in the pedestrian passage of Ahuacpinta. You will also see an imposing Inka wall and follow it as if going to the entrance of the temple looking to the right to locate the number 157 before arriving at the Quechua Museum.
